MADIVA – Using Data Science for Managing Complex Health Problems in Africa. Wits University, Johannesburg.
The MADIVA project will integrate several large, complex health data sets and develop novel data science methods for health science research and support district health officials in their work. Professor Scott Hazelhurst of Bioinformatics in the School of Electrical & Information Engineering and a Senior Scientist at the Sydney Brenner Institute for Molecular Bioscience at Wits will be speaking on 08 June at 13:00 -14:00 at the IBM at Tshimologong, 41 Juta Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
